Special one to one time with your baby
Birth to 13months
The Baby Sensory programme has been specifically designed to support the early development of babies through exposure to sensory experiences. Babies learn more in the first year of life than at any other time. Never again will there be such an extraordinary pace of development. They are totally attentive and absolutely fascinated by everything that they can see, hear, touch, taste and smell. Baby Sensory doesn’t waste a moment of this valuable time!
Award winning classes
Our award winning Baby Sensory classes provide a myriad of colourful sensory experiences andnew sensations. Activities vary weekly and incorporate every possible sensory experience including sign language, fibre optic light shows, amazing bouncy light balls, rainbows, bubbles, bells, holistic massage and much more. Imagine taking your baby on a jungle, water or space adventure, to a winter wonderland or to a world of light and magic? Mums and Dads also find out how to settle and soothe their baby, how to get them on their tummies, how to perform simple massage techniques and a whole lot more.
Parents are provided with hundreds of simple ideas for activities that they can do with their babies at home. Baby signing for example, is a great way to develop speech and language, whereas movement activities can help with the development of sight and hand-eye co-ordination, so important for later reading and writing.
The joy and sense of awe from seeing your baby learn, communicate and develop is worth the effort of squeezing this class into your schedule. Plus, you get the chance to meet others parents with young babies and form friendships which can play a useful role in helping you adapt to parenthood.
Prices & booking
Baby Sensory classes run in terms which can be joined at any time, as long as there is space on the class. The cost is £6 per session for a full term of classes. Twins / second children are half price. Prices include unlimited free entry for you and your child to Little Stars & The Milky Way Adventure Park. So you can visit as often as you like, including at weekends and school holidays!
Please note whilst another adult can bring your child to the session and get free entrance on the class day, on non-class days it is only the named adult and child that can use the class pass; i.e. it is not transferable to another adult/child. For extra adults to gain entrance to Little Stars the normal £2 entrance applies and can be paid on the day but note entry to classes themselves are subject to prior agreement with the class leader/manager as space might be limited.
Note, older siblings are not allowed on the baby classes but younger siblings are welcome on the pre-schooler classes and are free of charge if under one or half price if over one. This is for both drop ins and block bookings.
