Little Stars, a dedicated play space for babies to six year olds is launching alongside The Milky Way Adventure Park, near Clovelly. All of the play at Little Stars is designed specifically for younger visitors with facilities including a space themed play frame, little ride on cars, a role play pizzeria, the innovative WOW toys play zone and a sensory room featuring mesmerising ight displays for children under 3.
As well as being fun for little ones, the whole experience has been designed with parents in mind. So, you can look forward to a great coffee, a view of the lake and, if you arrive early enough, a comfy tub chair. The need for parents to navigate awkward spaces like crawl tubes has also been minimised in the main play frame…so no squeezing through narrow obstacles, unless you want to! What’s more, the Cosmic Café offers a wide choice of food including healthy options for children and toddler sized meals. It’s a great place to meet friends, chat over a coffee and spend quality time with the kids.
Alongside their play provision, Little Stars are also launching a range of award winning Baby and Toddler classes and have created a lovely airy room alongside the play facilities just for the classes. Toddler Sense is just one of the classes on offer and provides an exciting introduction to learning through play and games. The emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure, featuring gym equipment and much more! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari and hunting for dinosaurs…every week introduces new activities and a whole new adventure. Toddler Sense is the follow on to the incredibly popular Baby Sensory class and is much anticipated in North Devon, with many mums having experienced Baby Sensory classes at Glow Maternity and Baby in Barnstaple.
Visitors to The Milky Way get the Little Stars play experience included in the standard entry price. The Milky Way, voted North Devon’s Top Day Out with the Kids for two years running, also offers a host of other attractions for young children, including a small rollercoaster for little ones, children’s show, train ride, indoor play areas and dodgems. However, with the launch of Little Stars, those looking for a shorter trip out with younger children can now choose to just visit their ‘little’ sister attraction.
